Dr. Nesreen Houssien Abou- Baker

She is an Associate Professor at the department of Soils and Water Use, National Research Centre (NRC), Egypt. She obtained Ph.D degree in 2008 from the Department of Natural Resources, African Research and Studies Faculity, Cairo University. She served as a board member of Researchers Club in the period from 12/2005 to 12/2009, a member of the Technical Committee of Agricultural and Biological Research Division at NRC from 1/3/2014 to 1/3/2015, one of the founders of the Young Researchers Society and chairman of it in the period from 7/2010 to 3/2015 and a member of the scientific and cultural Committee of Agricultural and Biological Research Division at NRC from 1/3/2019 to 28/2/2020. She has been teaching summer training courses at the NRC for students from the faculties of science and agriculture of different Egyptian universities since 2011. She is also a  member of the editorial board and a reviewer of many international scientific journals. Her research area includes soil fertility, plant nutrition, abiotic stress, salinity, natural soil conditioners, reuse of plant and agro-industerial reseduse, and  water use efficiency.
